What sizes are available?
Six: XXS, XS, S, M, L and XL, sized by ribcage girth from 11" to 38".
How do I choose the correct size?
Measure around the widest part of your dog's ribcage, just behind the front legs, with a soft tape. Match that number to our size guide. Don't size by breed or weight. If you're between sizes, take the larger one.
Is it suitable for puppies?
If the puppy's ribcage measures at least 11", the XXS will fit. Puppies grow quickly, so re-measure before a big trip. Any dog new to water should start in shallow, calm water with you beside them.
Will it fit a small / medium / large dog?
The XXS–XL range covers roughly 11" to 38" of ribcage girth, which spans most small, medium and large breeds. What matters is the measurement, not the label.
Is it adjustable?
Yes — adjustable straps with quick-release buckles.
How do I put it on?
Lay the vest along your dog's back with the handle centred on the spine, fasten the quick-release buckles underneath, then tighten the straps until you can just slide two fingers underneath. Re-check the fit after the first swim.
Using the vest
Can my dog swim while wearing it?
Yes. It's designed to add buoyancy while your dog swims normally. Most dogs need a few minutes to adjust to the feel of it.
Can I use it in a pool, at the beach, or on a boat?
All three, plus lakes, rivers, paddleboards and kayaks. Rinse with fresh water afterwards so the fabric and buckles last.
What is the chin float for, and can I remove it?
The front float gives gentle support to your dog's head and neck, helping keep their nose above water — useful for dogs new to swimming or who tire quickly. It's removable once your dog is a confident swimmer.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with fresh water after every swim, especially after salt water or chlorine, and hang to air-dry out of direct sun. Detailed washing instructions aren't published by the manufacturer, so we won't invent them — we'd advise against machine washing or tumble drying.
Is this a replacement for supervising my dog?
No. This is a flotation aid. It adds buoyancy and gives you a handle, but it cannot prevent drowning and does not make a dog safe on their own. Please read our Water Safety Notice.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?
Shipping is free within the United States. Orders ship from a US warehouse with a combined processing and delivery window of about 12 business days. You'll get a tracking link by email once your order leaves the warehouse.
