30-day returns
You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or an exchange.
Wrong size? We'll swap it.
Sizing a dog vest from a screen is genuinely difficult, so a wrong-size exchange is the one return we expect to handle regularly. Contact us with your order number and your dog's ribcage measurement and we'll arrange the swap. [STORE OWNER: state clearly here who pays return postage on an exchange — you or the customer. Leaving this ambiguous causes disputes.]
Condition of returned items
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the vest must be:
- Unused and unworn beyond trying it on your dog indoors
- Clean, dry and free of hair, sand and odour
- In its original packaging with any tags attached
A vest that has been swum in cannot be resold, so we're unable to accept it back unless it is faulty.
Faulty or damaged items
If your vest arrives damaged, or a buckle, strap or seam fails in normal use, email us with your order number and a photo. We'll replace it or refund you in full, and we'll cover return postage. This is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights.
How to start a return
- Email us through the contact page with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Wait for our reply — we'll confirm the return address and next steps. Please don't post anything back before you hear from us, or we may not be able to trace it.
- Send the item back with tracking. We recommend keeping proof of postage.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we'll refund the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your bank may take a few days more to show it. Original shipping charges, where any were paid, are non-refundable except for faulty items.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible — once a parcel has left the warehouse, it becomes a return.
Non-returnable items
Items returned after 30 days, and items returned used, soiled or damaged by the customer, cannot be refunded.
